Over 320 schools, from across England applied to take part in the inaugural Church School Awards, with 106 schools being short listed by the judges. These 106 schools will be narrowed down to 12 winners. Winning schools will be notified in January. Well done and thank you to all participants.
The Church School Awards were established by Emmaus Recruitment, the Church schools recruitment service, and are supported by the Church of England's National Society, Methodist Children & Youth, the Catholic Association of Teachers, Schools and Colleges (CATSC), the Scottish Catholic Education Service, Northern Ireland's Council for Catholic Maintained Schools (CCMS), aid and development organisations including CAFOD, Christian Aid, World Action in Methodist Schools, World Aims and many other supporters.
